School closings, delays
"Montgomery Country Public Schools" was the top Google search term for a period this morning as residents presumably sought school closing information after an overnight snowfall. Montgomery schools did open on time, though public schools in Frederick County—and two private schools — opened after a 2-hour weather delay as snowfall and slick conditions kept buses off the roads.
The Capital Weather Gang calls for snow showers and flurries Tuesday and strong winds with gusts as high as 30-45 mph with high temperatures in the upper 20s and low 30s. Snow remains a possibility for Thursday and Friday. A wind advisory is in effect for much of the D.C. region until 10 p.m.
