Ex-Baltimore mayor billed city for hair styling
Former Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon, who resigned in January as part of a plea deal following her conviction on embezzlement and perjury charges, apparently billed the city for $260 worth of hair styling services, according to a report by The Baltimore Sun.
Twice in 2008 and once in January, Dixon's stylist submitted invoices for "curling and styling hair," according to the records obtained by the Sun.
Reached by telephone, Dixon said she "occasionally" had her hair styled before taping segments for the city's public access cable channel.
