Fifth suspect arrested in D.C. fatal shooting
A fifth suspect was arrested Monday in the Dec. 1 fatal shooting that occurred during a robbery attempt in Southeast Washington, D.C. police said.
They said Lynn D. Wilkerson, 33, of Hyattsville, went to first district headquarters and surrendered to police around noon. He was sought on a warrant in the death of Arvel S. Alston, 40, in the 4300 block of 4th Street SE, and has been charged with first degree felony murder while armed, the police said.
