Fire damages cars in Catholic U lot
Several cars in a parking lot at Catholic University in Washington were damaged after a fire apparently started in one vehicle and spread to others.
D.C. Fire and EMS spokesman Pete Piringer says the fire started Saturday around 1:30 p.m. in a car in a parking lot near Caldwell Hall. Piringer says five or six cars were damaged, with a total of about $50,000 in damage.
No one was injured, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
