Fire near FedEx displaces up to 6 families
Fire ripped through the roof of a townhouse near FedEx Field Tuesday night, the Prince George's County fire department said.
The blaze broke out about 8 p.m. in the 500 block of Garrett A. Morgan Boulevard, just two or three blocks from the field, said department spokesman Mark Brady.
The blaze apparently started in the garage area of one house and spread to houses on both sides. The cause was under investigation.
Brady said that as many as six families could be displaced.
