Two die in early morning fire in Fairfax
UPDATE:
Two men died in an early morning house fire in Springfield, according to WTOP.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue spokesman Dan Schmidt said the men were found inside the home in the 5600 block of Heming Avenue. Their identities have not been released.
Firefighters were forced to leave the house while battling the blaze because of a partial collapse in the home. WTOP reports that one firefighter was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Three Fairfax County firefighters escaped a home that partially collapsed as they battled the two-alarm house fire in Springfield early Tuesday morning, reported WUSA.
The fire was reported about 6:30 a.m. in the 5600 block of Heming Avenue. A portion of the two-story home collapsed as firefighters were battling the blaze.
Dan Schmidt, spokesman for Fairfax County Fire and Rescue, said the three firefighters got out of the house and no serious injuries were reported.
