Former Md. governor to be roasted
Former Maryland governor Marvin Mandel is scheduled to be "toasted and roasted" by Maryland political VIPS of all stripes in honor of his 90th birthday.
The celebration will occur Tuesday evening at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center, on the University of Maryland's College Park campus.
Lobbyist Bruce Bereano is organizing the event. Maryland Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller will emcee the festivities, and Mandel will be toasted and roasted by the likes of U.S. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot, Maryland House of Delegates Ways and Means Chairman Sheila Hixson, former governor and current GOP gubernatorial primary candidate Robert Ehrlich and several others. The $200-a-plate party will help fund a University of Maryland scholarship named for Mandel.

Just reading about the recent MEDIEVAL rulings your governor has made recently, I just wanted to be sure he wasn't being literally ROASTED and TOASTED
