Fox attacks two girls in Blacksburg

By Washington Post Editors

Authorities are searching for a fox that attacked two girls and a dog in a neighborhood outside Blacksburg.

Gary Coggins with the New River Health District says authorities believe the fox is rabid.
Montgomery County sheriff's Chief Deputy Bill Tolley says the girls are undergoing rabies shots after they were attacked Thursday. The dog was taken to a veterinarian's office after it was attacked Wednesday.
