Holocaust scholars gather in Va.
An international group of scholars have gathered at Shenandoah University for three days of discussions focused on keeping alive the memory of the Holocaust.
The teachers and historians began meeting Sunday and will work through Tuesday discussing ways to introduce new generations to that period of history. They say they are battling fading memories as well as a rise of anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial on college campuses. The three-day gathering is co-sponsored by the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.
