Apparent bomb threat at Howard
Dozens of Howard University students were sent out into Saturday’s heat after what appeared to be a bomb threat was made, a D.C. fire department spokesman said.
It appeared that the possible threat involved a campus dormitory. Students were evacuated during the afternoon from that building and had not returned by 5 p.m. It was not clear whether other buildings were involved. There was no indication of injury.
District and university police were investigating, Piringer said.
