Jet with cracked windshield lands safely

A commuter jet with a cracked windshield landed safely at Reagan National Airport Tuesday afternoon.
The American Airlines aircraft landed about 4:37 p.m. with a broken windscreen. It was not clear what caused the crack. No injuries were reported.
