Good afternoon. Another summer-like day -- plus I'm told George Clooney has a meeting at the White House this afternoon, so I may have to leave the office a bit early today. But I would never leave before telling you what's happening in the D.C. area blogosphere. If you've ever had your two-wheel transportation filched, you'll totally understand where Just Up the Pike is coming from. And we've got some money-saving tips for throwing a party from D.C. Biking helped change his life. He lost weight. He got to know his new neighborhood in a way that folks who drive cars never quite do. And then, over the weekend, poof! No more bike. Just Up the Pike presents an “Ode to a Stolen Bike.” A good read and a reminder to appreciate the small things we own that we sometimes take for granted.
