Our 5 favorite blog posts

Sigh. Where does the workday go?
Still, it's never too late to highlight some of our favorite D.C. area blogs.
Today's batch of blog posts includes some nifty Census tracking tools (yes, there is such a thing), a some "Top Chef" tidbits (The Post's Food Editor Joe Yonan -- @WaPoFoodLive -- will be live tweeting tonight's premier) and a dose of "Dancing With the Stars" Metro-style.
Something to bring out my (and possibly your) inner geek: Beyond D.C. offers a look at a very cool tool that uses IRS data to track where people from D.C. area go once they move.
In case you can’t get enough – Bravo offers this video tour of the “Top Chef D.C.” house. (HT: DCist)
The So Good blog offers some great foodie news tidbits and a link to an Atlantic Magazine post on the question of which is better for you: the Big Mac or the Chipotle burrito. Saying you’ll be surprised probably hints at what the outcome is, but it's an interesting read nonetheless.
My Pretty Pennies suggests you join her online summer book club. Could be a low-stress but fun way to enjoy a new book without the pressure of a "live discussion."
IMetro offers this video on a Metro rider who might want to rethink his “Dancing With the Stars” potential. Then again, how often do you witness such a thing on your commute? (HT also to Unsuck D.C. Metro, which also featured the video.)
