Good afternoon. Feels a little Groundhog Day-ish, what with another severe thunderstorm watch in place until 10 p.m. tonight. I believe I may have glanced at something that said one-inch hail, but I've decided to ignore it for the time being. In today's selection of blog posts, we've got some handy advice for those forced to ride their bikes in inclement weather. Sweating the Big Stuff has a smart piece of financial advice. He says we shouldn't make purchases to encourage good behavior (i.e. new workout clothes to make exercising more fashionable and thus fun). Rather, we should use purchases to reward good behavior (i.e. a new workout outfit after we've gone to the gym consistently for three months.) Here's his most excellent rationale.
