Man arrested for shooting at deputy
A man was arrested and charged with attempted murder Sunday after authorities say he shot at a vehicle driven by an Anne Arundel County sheriff's deputy, the Balitmore Sun reports.
Just before 8 a.m., Rodney Divine of Arnold fired a .45-caliber pistol at vehicle driven by Sgt. Carl Schanberger, according to Anne Arundel County Sheriff's officials. The deputy was at the Divine residence to serve a warrant for robbery on Divine's daughter, Lauren A. Divine, when the incident occurred, authorities said.
The deputy was not injured.
