Man fatally shot in Forestville shopping center

By Terri Rupar

A man was fatally shot Thursday evening at a shopping center in Forestville, Prince George’s County police said.

The victim was shot about 5:30 p.m. at a shopping mall in the 3300 block of Walters Lane, a police spokesman said. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said. Police did not immediately release the victim’s name.

All life is precious regardless of the color of our skin. We are all created in the image of God and we are all brothers and sisters descendants from the Adam and Eve. There is some good in the worst of us and some bad in the best of us. We all have a right to be here. Seek the truth and you will find it. Find out what purpose God has for you and stop the killing. My prayers go out to the victims of violence, their families and the perpetrators that they may come to know who they really are and why they are here.

Another member of the Forestville Knights family lost to senseless violence at such a difficult time of the year to lose someone. RIP and condolences to his family.
