Man found shot in Southwest

A man was shot in the chest Friday night and found inside of a Southwest Washington home, D.C. police said.
Officers are investigating a shooting where the victim was found wounded inside a residence in the 200 block of K Street SW, said Officer Hugh Carew, a spokesman. The victim was found conscious and breathing and taken to a hospital.
Police were trying to determine the location where the victim was shot.
