Man killed in Reston car crash
A 42-year-old man was killed Thursday night when he lost control of his car and it flipped on a Reston area street, Fairfax County police said.
Officers responded to Monroe Street at Cedar Glen Lane for a crash just before 8 p.m., said Officer Tawny Wright, a police spokeswoman. The initial investigation revealed that the driver of a Mercedes SL swerved off the road as he drove southbound on Monroe Street, Wright said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, she said. Police are investigating to determine what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
