Man rescued after fall down embankment

A man was rescued by the D.C. fire department after apparently falling down a brushy embankment near Rock Creek Parkway in the Virginia Avenue NW area, authorities said.
Pete Piringer, a spokesman for the D.C. fire and emergency medical services department, said the man’s injuries appeared minor.
