Man shot, killed on Georgia Ave. NW
A man was shot and killed Wednesday evening in Northwest Washington.
The man was shot outside in the 5200 block of Georgia Avenue NW between Hamilton and Ingraham streets about 7:15 p.m., said Quintin Peterson, a D.C. police spokesman. The man was declared dead on the scene. Police are searching for a suspect but do not have anyone in custody, Peterson said.
The victim’s name was not released.
