Man shot, seriously hurt in carjack attempt
A man was shot and seriously wounded Friday night in the Anacostia area of Southeast Washington during what appeared to be an attempt to carjack him, D.C. police said.
They said the shooting occurred about 9:40 p.m. near 16th Street and Good Hope Road SE. The man was reported conscious and breathing while being taken to a hospital.
Details of the incident remained unclear late Friday.

Since it was DC, the District of Criminals, the only one armed was the thug. Another victory for the criminal and a defeat for the law abiding citizen that us unable to defend himself.

Carjackers need to be chained to the bumpers of the cars they tried to steal then taken for a ride.
