2 killed in Anne Arundel crash

By Erica Johnston

Two people were killed and a third was injured late Wednesday night in a two-vehicle crash in the Severn area of Anne Arundel County, police said.

Police are still investigating and released few details about the crash about 10:30 p.m. They did say that a truck collided with an SUV and that the SUV caught fire.

Lt. Francis Tewey, a county police spokesman, said two people were pronounced dead at the scene, which was on Donaldson Avenue near where it intersects with Walnut Grove Road.

The victims' names were not immediately released.
