3 injured in Howard Co. barn collapse
Howard County officials say three workers were injured when the barn they were building collapsed.
Howard County Fire and Rescue Services spokeswoman Julia Lynch says no one was trapped in the collapse Friday morning at Marama Farms in Clarksville.
Lynch says three workers who were on the roof of the barn when it collapsed were taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore for treatment. Officials say their injuries that do not appear to be life threatening. Another eight workers were evaluated but did not need to be taken to a hospital.
Lynch says initial reports indicate that building under construction collapsed when the trusses gave way.
