30 years for killing pregnant girlfriend
An Oxon Hill man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to running over his pregnant girlfriend and leaving her to die, The Prince George's Gazette reported.
Bernard Bellamy entered his guilty plea on Oct. 15 in Prince George's County Circuit Court and was sentenced that same day.
Bellamy was a sophomore at West Virginia State University when he was charged in connection with the May 2009 death of 19-year-old Valecia Demery on the running track at Forestville Military Academy.
Prosecutors believe Bellamy was under stress after learning his girlfriend was pregnant.

This killer is a monster. He should never see the outside of a prison ever.
