Abduction reported in District Heights
Prince George's County police were looking for a man who was abducted from a District Heights home late Thursday night during a home invasion and taken away in his own car, officials said.
Police who responded to the 6800 block of Atwood Street were told that at least two men, who were believed to be armed, broke into the home about 10 p.m., said Cpl. Larry Johnson, a police spokesman. The gunmen then fled with a man who had been inside the residence at the time of break-in.
Police were searching for a black Chrysler 300, which initial reports said was stolen from the premises.
