Body found after Frederick barn fire
Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found at the scene of a barn fire.
The Frederick County Sheriff's Office says a preliminary investigation reveals 63-year-old Thomas Baker Sr. set fire to his house and barn on Black Ankle Road before taking his life Monday afternoon.
Sheriff's Capt. Tim Clarke says firefighters called to the fire saw a man with a gun in nearby woods. Baker's body was later found there.
