Bomb scare at MoCo apartment
Montgomery County police found three pipe bombs and explosive materials inside a Gaithersburg apartment late Sunday while investigating a reported suicide, NBC 4 reports.
Police were called to a report of a suicide at an apartment in 400 block of Sunnybrook Terrace. Once there officers found several suspicious items and called the bomb squad.
The apartment building was evacuated and the items were taken to a field at the Montgomery County Agricultural Park where a robot was used to disrupt the devices.

What does "disrupt" mean? Blow up the devices? Somehow disable them?
