Brush fire in Bowie
Prince George’s and Anne Arundel county firefighters are currently battling a large brush fire behind the Hilltop Plaza shopping center and Freestate Mall in Bowie.
Fire and EMS officials say that about 40 firefighters aree trying to contain the approximately 3 acre brush fire at Annapolis Road and Race Track Road.
No structures are in danger and there have been no evacuation orders, officials said.
