8 injured in Upper Marlboro crash
Eight people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Route 301 in Upper Marlboro on Tuesday morning, according to the Prince George's Fire and EMS Department.
A man in his 90s, two men in their 50s and a woman in her 20s were taken to the hospital with neck and back pain. Another woman in her 20s and a teenage boy were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. A 9-month-old girl and a 3-year-old boy were flown to Children's Hospital's trauma center, officials said. Their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, and officials said the decision to transport them was done with an "overabundance of caution."
Officials said the crash happened about 11 a.m. near Route 301 and Rosaryville Road. Maryland police are investigating.
