Girl struck by vehicle in Bladensburg
Update: The girl struck by a car was a female toddler who suffered a mnor leg injury, authorities said. She was taken to a hospital by private vehicle.
A girl was struck by a vehicle and suffered minor injuries Wednesday afternoon in the Bladensburg area, Prince George's County police said.
Few details were available, but police responded to the incident in the 5400 block of 56th Place about 5 p.m., said Officer Evan Baxter, a spokesman. The girl, whose age could not be immediately learned, appeared to suffer an injury to her knee, Baxter said.
