Maryland lawmakers are scheduled to hold a public hearing on the state's Department of Juvenile Services to talk about ongoing concerns over the department, ABC 7 reports.
The hearing comes as the department is investigating the February slaying of a teacher at the state-run Cheltenham Youth Facility.
The hearing is scheduled for 3 p.m. in the Department of Legislative Services building in Annapolis.
