Howard offers BRAC help
Howard County officials announced Thursday they have launched a new effort to help individuals and families who relocate to the county as part of the BRAC process.
The effort is funded by the U.S. Department of Defense's Office of Economic Adjustment and will included brochures, posters, small magnets and bumper magnets and a BRAC relocation website to serve as a guide to services provided by government and non-profit agencies.
Howard County is the only jurisdiction in the nation to receive a BRAC grant to support its efforts to meet the human services needs of relocating families.
