Life sentence in murder of 14-year-old
Tracy Bailey, who pleaded guilty to killing a 14-year-old runaway, moving a bed to cover a pool of blood, and leaving the body in a stairwell, has been sentenced to life in prison.
Bailey, 34, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder on March 5, according to Montgomery County court records, Dan Morse reports at Crime Scene.
The victim, Davonn Dupree, was a runaway from Richmond. She linked up with Bailey, who recently had been released from prison for attempted murder.
Bailey and Davonn began illegally squatting in an apartment on Castle Boulevard in Silver Spring.
