Man critically injured in Pr. Geo's crash
A man was critically injured Monday morning in a three-vehicle crash in the Largo-Upper Marlboro area of Prince George’s County, fire officials said.
The crash occurred just before 10 a.m. in the 2000 block of Ritchie-Marlboro Road and involved a box truck and two passenger vehicles, said Mark Brady, a spokesman for the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department. The driver of one of the cars, a man in his 30s, was trapped in the wreckage; it took about 30 minutes to cut the man free, Brady said. He was transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.
The drivers of the other two vehicles were not hurt, Brady said. The cause of the crash remains unclear.
