Man feared dead in bay boat accident
Authorities are searching for a 46-year-old man who is presumed dead after a boating accident in the Chesapeake Bay.
Maryland Natural Resources police say they were called to Greenwood Creek about 9 p.m. Sunday after the boat Albert Anthony Cantello Jr. of Queenstown was operating capsized while making a turn.
Police say Cantello and a passenger, 47-year-old Eric Lee Warrington of Pasadena, were thrown into the water. Warrington was able to swim ashore.
Natural Resources police, the Coast Guard and emergency fire and rescue personnel from Anne Arundel County and surrounding towns searched the creek by boat Sunday for Cantello. Maryland State Police also searched the area by air.
Search and recovery efforts will begin again Monday.
