Man killed in accident near BWI
A man was killed early Tuesday after a three-vehicle collision near Baltimore-Washington International Marshall Airport, the Baltimore Sun reports.
The crash occurred about 12:40 a.m. on Aviation Boulevard between Amtrak Way and Stoney Run Road and involved a Jeep Wrangler, an Isuzu Trooper and a BWI shuttle bus.
Investigators believe the Jeep, which was headed southbound, veered into oncoming northbound traffic, first striking the Isuzu trooper and then the bus.
The driver of the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene. The bus driver was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
