Manhunt for Md. man in woman's death
Law enforcement officials are searching for a Lexington Park man accused of killing a woman whose body was found under a New Jersey bridge over the weekend.
Authorities have charged Benjamin Moore, 46, with second-degree murder after the body of Devon Baker, 37, also of Lexington Park, was found near the Princeton Country Club in Trenton, NJ, at about 8 p.m. Sunday. She had been missing since July 17.
Moore was last known to be in Niagara Falls, Canada on July 21, authorities said. He has ties to Chesapeake, Va., and Philadelphia. He was described as a black man standing 5-foot-7 and weighing 195 pounds.
Canadian authorities are working with St. Mary’s County detectives and Maryland State Police to locate Moore.
