Trooper, motorists stranded on I-495

Maryland State Police said this afternoon that a trooper who stopped to help motorists is also stranded after a snow plow pushed a load of snow onto them. As many as 20 vehicles, officials said, are stuck in 18 inches of snow on the outer loop of the Beltway at Connecticut Avenue.
