Md. Dems pick another O'Malley
The Maryland Democratic Party has chosen the brother of Gov. Martin O'Malley to be the chairman of the party.
Peter O'Malley was elected chairman in a vote on Saturday. A relied-upon fixture in the governor's political campaigns for years O'Malley will serve a four year term as the head of the party.
The party also elected two vice chairs, a secretary, a treasurer, a deputy treasurer and deputy secretary.
