Md. man charged with rape of 7-year-old

By Washington Post editors

A 22-year-old Baltimore man has been charged with second-degree rape after the 7-year-old daughter of his live-in girlfriend contracted gonorrhea, the Baltimore Sun reports.

The man, who is not being identified to protect the privacy of the girl, was arrested Tuesday after giving an account of the incident to police. The girl was found to have contracted the sexually transmitted disease May 11.

Her case was reported the same day police received another report about an 18-month-old Baltimore girl who had contracted gonorrhea. That case remains under investigation.

"Guys, if you are going to have sex with your girlfriends children; YOU MUST USE CONDOMS!

shesh! what is wrong with people?"

Possibly the most politically incorrect thing I've ever read but funny at the same time...well done. Sometimes the sarcasm gets lost in these type posts.

If anything, this should be a cautionary tale for single parents but especially moms: Be careful who you allow to have contact with your children.
Every time a story like this breaks the words "live in boyfriend" seem to appear in it somewhere.
Just a guess but next we'll be hearing the mom had no idea the boyfriend had a long criminal history blah, blah, blah.
Just do a criminal background check before you move in with the dude...it isn't that tough to figure out.

i work with sexually abused kids on a daily basis. The perps are very good at chosing their prey..and it encompasses all races, ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds. These people don't think they are doing wrong.Setting these girls and boys for drug abuse and futures where they may become abusers as well. But funding to get the kids help is almost non existent.Society would rather feed and house the offenders.
