Md. ski resort gets zip line
Maryland's only ski resort has a new attraction for summertime visitors.
The Flying Squirrel Canopy Tour at the Wisp Resort in McHenry is a zip line that carries riders over treetops up to 50 feet above the ground.
A spokeswoman said Wednesday the $39 tour is for riders aged 10 and up. Besides sliding in harnesses along five cable routes ranging from 180 to 400 feet, riders must navigate a rope bridge and a plank bridge.
The resort is recommending reservations for the new ride.
