Metro police seek sex assault suspect

Metro Transit Police are looking for Tanveer Fayyaz, 31, an employee of Regency Cab, in connection with an alleged sexual assault reported by a MetroAccess customer, Dr. Gridlock reports.

Regency Cab is a subcontractor for MV Transportation, which provides MetroAccess service for the disabled for Metro. Officials said Wednesday that a MetroAccess customer reported that she had been sexually assaulted by a driver for the paratransit service on July 8. The police identified the driver as Fayyaz.

Fayyaz is described as 5'10" and 180 pounds. He lives in the Gaithersburg area.

I know that at this time any headline with the word 'Metro' in it is sure to catch peoples eyes but here we are talking about a rape. I'm sure the Metropolitan Police are looking for him also, not just the Metro Transit Police.
