MoCo schools closed on Wednesday
Montgomery County schools will be closed Wednesday, officials announced Tuesday morning, joining the tide of area school systems that have shut down for an extended winter break after the weekend snowstorm.
For students in Montgomery and Prince George's counties, Southern Maryland and Northern Virginia, this week's cascade of snow-closure days means that school will not resume until January. D.C. students were already off this week for winter break.
Decisions on Wednesday classes are still pending in Howard and Anne Arundel counties.
