MoCo schools win fed prize for excellence
Montgomery County Schools is one of seven recipients of the 2010 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality award, a federal prize administered by the Commerce Department that recognizes companies and organizations for excellence, Commerce Secretary Gary Locke announced Tuesday.
Organizations are picked for the award based on having an "outstanding system for managing ... products, services, human resources, and customer relationships," according to the National Institute for Standards and Technology's website.
