Motorcycle crashes, bursts into flames
A motorcyclist was burned in Prince George’s County on Monday night when his motorcycle crashed and burst into flames, county police said.
A county police spokesman said parts of the man’s body or clothing appeared to be on fire before bystanders came to his aid and quelled the flames.
The man, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The motorcycle caught fire after striking a pole about 8:40 p.m. at Marlboro Pike and Larchmont Avenue, in the Capitol Heights area, said Cpl. Larry Johnson.
