Ocean City ponders beach smoking ban
Ocean City officials say they will consider banning smoking on beaches in the resort town, The Baltimore Sun reports.
Instead of putting the ban on the ballot in the Oct. 18 municipal election, the town council has decided to hold a hearing on the matter after the election.
Council President Joe Mitrecic says he has suggested forming a committee to consider how a ban would be implemented.

oh come on. what could be better than building a sand castle with your kids. When allmost finished your kids pull a Marlboro Light butt to put on top. Makes you want to gag, who knows when that was just in someone mouth and now it is in your kids hands.

I tell ya... we had our 5 yr old son down on the boardwalk to ride the rides and there are soo many smokers... now , iam not complaining cuz it is their right but when you have your children riding kids rides and all of the adults are lighting up is a bit absurd. You want to smoke, go ahead but keep it away from your kids.. at least give the ma chance to breath fresh air :)
