O'Malley, Ehrlich postpone debate
John Wagner reports on the Maryland Politics blog that a radio debate scheduled Friday in the Washington area between Maryland's leading gubernatorial candidates has been postponed because of a funeral both are planning to attend that morning, according to the two campaigns.
Aides to Gov. Martin O'Malley (D) and former governor Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. (R) said the candidates will not be able to make the 10 a.m. debate on WTOP because they plan to attend the funeral of Betty Peebles, co-founder of a Prince George's megachurch.
