One shot at Frederick grocery store
The proprietor of a grocery store in Frederick was shot and wounded Saturday night in what appeared to be robbery, the Frederick police said.
They said at least three people entered the International Market around 9 p.m. and one confronted the proprietor with a gun. The 56-year-old proprietor was shot in the chest after a struggle.
He was flown by helicopter to the shock trauma unit at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, police said.
