Pedestrian struck, killed by car
A man was fatally struck by a car Wednesday night on Baltimore Avenue in the Laurel area, authorities said.
The man, who was described only as being in his 30s, was found unconscious near the intersection with Contee Road just before 9 p.m., Maryland State Police officials said. He was taken to a local hospital and later died. State troopers are investigating.
