A small plane carrying six people landed short of the runway at the Montgomery County Airpark Monday evening, Montgomery County Fire & Rescue officials said.
Assistant Chief Scott Graham said that four adults and two children were riding in the aircraft when it landed just short of a runway in a grassy field shortly before 8 p.m. No injuries were reported.
Graham said he did not know if the weather was a factor.
